Jamestown residents with boats up to 30 ft. can reserve one of the 20 available dry boat storage spaces at Fort Getty Park. Spaces are limited, so please submit your form and payment by October 25th.

Cost: $750 (Non-prorated)
Due Date: Payment must be submitted by October 25th 2024

Fort Getty Park Dry Storage Rules:
All permit holders must agree to the following rules and conditions when using the storage facilities:

Insurance: Proof of insurance for both the boat and trailer must be provided.
Registration: All boats and trailers must be properly registered.
Winterization: Boats must be winterized and covered with shrink-wrap or a boat cover before storage.
Trailer Parking: Boats must be stored on registered trailers, parked with the hitch facing the road for emergency access. Adequate space between units will be maintained under the direction of Park Management.

No Work or Maintenance: Maintenance of boats while in storage is prohibited.
Prohibited Uses: The storage site cannot be used for residency, business, or any occupation.
Non-transferable: Storage permits cannot be transferred or sublet.
Commercial Vessels: For commercial vessels, the Town of Jamestown must be listed as an additional insured.
Hazardous Materials: All hazardous and flammable materials must be removed from boats before storage.
Site Condition: The storage site must be left in good condition by the end of the rental period.
Damage Liability: Permit holders are responsible for any damages caused to their storage site or surrounding areas.
