This is an informational announcement from the Jamestown Board of Canvassers

Voter Registration for the General Election

        The last day to register to be eligible to vote in the General Election on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 is Sunday, October 9, 2016. The Town Clerk's Office located at 93 Narragansett Avenue will be open to register to voters on Sunday, October 9th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Please bring a valid government-issued picture ID to register. To register to vote online go to: https://vote.sos.ri.gov/ and click on "New Online Voter Registration" on the right hand side of the webpage. The deadline to request an Absentee Ballot for the November 8, 2016 General Election is Tuesday, October 18, 2016. The Polling locations are: District 1 - Jamestown Recreation Center and District 2 - Lawn Avenue School. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For more information call the Town Clerk's Office during regular business hours or access the Board of Canvassers webpage
