Officer Nathaniel Schaffer
Officer Schaffer has been a member of the Jamestown Police Department since December of 2017 and is a graduate of the Rhode Island Municipal Police Training Academy. He is currently assigned as a patrol officer on the split shift (2 days 11pm-7am & 2 days 3pm-11pm) and is also a certified Taser Instructor for the department. Officer Schaffer is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice. Officer Schaffer has been a member of the RI Army National Guard since 2012 and continues to serve as a tenor saxophonist in the Governor's Own 88th Army Band.
