Captain Deneault began her career with the Jamestown Police Department in June of 1994 as the department’s first female police officer.  She attended the 1994-III session of the Rhode Island Municipal Police Academy.  She serves as  second in command to the Chief of Police.

Captain Deneault is a certified DARE Officer, Background Investigator, Traffic Occupant Protection Strategies (TOPS) and Child Passenger Safety technician, Crisis Negotiator, Homicide Investigator and is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island’s BCI School.  She also serves as the department’s Public Information Officer.

Captain Deneault is a graduate of Salve Regina University with a Bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University.
